Immortalis is an innovative tech business serving the construction and roofing industry. The Immortalis team identified that construction and roofing companies used antiquated practices when creating quotes and estimates for their customers.
Immortalis is transforming the traditional, often fragmented roofing sector by leveraging data-driven insights and offering an integrated approach that simplifies complexities while boosting growth and profitability.
Problem
Immortalis Solutions was routinely stuck using antiquated spreadsheets to manage their projects. This outdated approach led to challenges like limited accessibility, inconsistency within updates, and tedious duplication. GAIN LINE was tasked with creating an online system that was absent of these variables, which construction companies often fall victim to. In place of this, GAIN LINE wanted to promote efficiency to empower Immortalis projects as a leading solution agency for the construction industry.
Solution
Through a process of Intelligent Development, GAIN LINE was able to scope the opportunities for the Immortalis System by conducting thorough research and journey mapping the experience of creating an estimate.
Within said journeys, several friction points surrounding Excel spreadsheets and calculation logic arose. GAIN LINE was able to audit and translate these issues into a cloud-based system.
Results
After conducting a thorough investigation, GAIN LINE designed and developed a bespoke system that integrated the following functionalities into the business’s (Immortalis’) technology:
- All specifications available online and accessible via any digital device.
- Estimators are immediately and with confidence able to calculate margins.
- Speed of estimation three to five times faster than previous.
- An estimated £300,000,000 worth of work was estimated through the software in 2020.
